Is this using glassfish v3 preview or latter build? It might so happen
that its using one of the glassfish build where something might be
broken. Please note that jython container is a plugin module so if a
particular glassfish build has lets say some API change or some
incompatible change jython container may not work. I need to see the
server.log. See below...

Look inside server.log. For example for default domain1, server.log is
located at glassfishv3/glassfish/domains/domain1/logs/server.log
