Hello,
sorry I resolved this one:
Has anyone seen this error:
Deploying application in domain failed; Error loading deployment descriptors for module [KAKENTERPRISE] -- Invalid ejb jar [c:\jee\KAKENTERPRISE]: it contains zero ejb. Note: 1. A valid ejb jar requires at least one session, entity (1.x/2.x style), or message driven bean. 2. EJB3+ entity beans (@Entity) are POJOs and please package them as library jar. 3. If the jar file contains valid EJBs which are annotated with EJB component level annotations (@Stateless, @Stateful, @MessageDriven), plea...
I was deploying the wrong file. should be .ear file.
thanks

Hello,
everyone,
has anyone seen this from netbeans 7.1
deps-clean:
C:\jee\KAKENTERPRISE\nbproject\build-impl.xml:485: The following error occurred while executing this line:
C:\jee\KAKENTERPRISE\KAKENTERPRISE-app-client\nbproject\build-impl.xml:343: The libs.CopyLibs.classpath property is not set up.
This property must point to
org-netbeans-modules-java-j2seproject-copylibstask.jar file which is part
of NetBeans IDE installation and is usually located at
<netbeans_installation>/java<version>/ant/extra folder.
Either open the project in the IDE and make sure CopyLibs library
exists or setup the property manually. For example like this:
ant -Dlibs.CopyLibs.classpath=a/path/to/org-netbeans-modules-java-j2seproject-copylibstask.jar
BUILD FAILED (total time: 2 seconds)
Thanks

I am getting it on both Sun application server 9.1 cluster and Glassfish v2.1 cluster.
Thanks

Subject: RE: glassfish and clusters on 2 PCs
Hello everyone,
I have cluster installed on one PC glassfish v2.1
And I had
Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 (build b58g-fcs)
installed on the other machine. I turned this into a cluster
installation from the admin console. So now the two PC
application servers communicate with each other and I was able
to create a node on one PC for the other. And once, I restarted
the node agent, it shows within the admin console of the other PC.
Which is greate.
My problem is, I don't want to keep the old application server
Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 (build b58g-fcs)
but upgrade to the new glassfish v2.1. If I just installed it, it will have
port problems. I would like to installe the new version and keep the default
port numbers. So how do I approach this.
Do I uninstall the old
Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 (build b58g-fcs)
and installed the new version?

Anissa,
Thank you.
I will recreate the agent and resovle this later.
Now,
to approach the issue wth the second PC,
Do I install glassfish v2.1 cluster the same way as I've done on
the first PC.
Then if all goes well and I am able to start the node agent.
I assume, I would deploy application to a cluster,
and because the node belongs to the host on the
network, the application and its configurations would be config
to both the host and the other PC.

Hi Eve,
I wish to get rid of this nodeagent and create it again. How?
You need to use CLI delete-node-agent command to delete the node agent.
usage: delete-node-agent [--terse=false] [--echo=false] [--interactive=true] [--agentdir nodeagent_path] nodeagent_name
and then create it again by create-node-agent command
Usage: create-node-agent [--terse=false] [--echo=false] [--interactive=true] [--host DAS_host(Default localhost)] [--port 4848|4849] [--user DAS_user] [--passwordfile file_name] [--agentdir nodeagent_path] [--agentport port_number] [--savemasterpassword=false] [--secure=true] [--agentproperties (name=value)[:name=value]*] [nodeagent_name]

The default master password is changeit
If you just press Enter, it should mean use the default, which is 'changeit'.

Hello,
Thank you all.
this works.
cd to c:\glassfish
then in that directory run
.\lib\ant\bin\ant -f setup-cluster.xml
Also, upgrade to JDK 6 u14 for better performance.
hth
so now I am trying to start the node agent.
C:\glassfish\bin>asadmin start-node-agent nodeagent1XPhm
Please enter the admin user name>admin

isn't the default pwd is
