i have not yet deployed any application on the server. This is the error that i get on accessing the admin console for the very first time after a fresh install of the server. The OS is Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP4. The same Glassfish server is working fine on my development machine which is Win XP SP2.
Is this something related to OS or file/folder permissions? I have shared the top level folder in which glassfish is installed with access to only one user so that i can access this folder over the network.
At this moment the admin console gives 404 error when loaded for the first time when the server starts and then refreshing the page loads the admin console. This is after I have done a reinstall of the glassfish server. However earlier the admin consolde did not loaded even after multiple refreshes/clearing cookies and cache. I am not sure for how long the admin console will be available on refreshing the page when 404 error is received.
