I'm back to work and here is what I've found so far
a) Yes, now I'm running this test with clusterjsp application. (previews tests were run with proprietary application)
b) no exceptions/stacktraces
c) 3 linux virtual machines (virtual box) running on a single linux hardware
d) done
e) clock sync'd and vm's on same subnet
after solving clock syncing problems, session replication seems to work as expected with clusterjsp, but not with my application.
I'll investigate further ...
