There is an experimental(?) REST interface where you can just send an HTTP request to the server from anywhere and you probably don't even need admin-cli.jar.
Talk to ludo_at_dev.java.net about the same.
BTW, were you thinking of just copying admin-cli.jar without GlassFish installation to all your client machines? That might result in unknown problems.
