Did you run it from the GlassFish server or from the remote Linux ?
If this was from the remote Linux, try to add
-Djava.rmi.server.hostname=<hostname>
in the JVM Options of the instance of GlassFish you try to connect to,
where <hostname> is the expected hostname.
