In an effort to create more manageable applications it would be great if the JMX classloader was lower in the hierarchy and available to the application classloader. As it is today, you have to use RMI type calls from a JMX component if you are managing aspects of a deployed application. This is very cumbersome and problematic. Any possibility of a change? Or the creation of another JMX layer that could be specific to the application classloader? That way JMX components that are intended to manage the app server would still be protected from applications.
