grep is not available by defaut under windows.

Some googling will help you find a grep.exe that will fit in windows\system32 so that you can use it in the command prompt

For configuration-desperate-search, I advise a tool called baregrep, a grep with a UI for windows then search for
127.0.0.1
localhost
in the config files (*.xml)

Do you have another service on your machine that can be accessed from the 2nd one ?
If so, this is not a network problem but a conf problem
