So I regenerated a new keypair, a new CSR, got all certs and imported everything in the proper order. I used the java keytool this time around. My question is that the instructions on our certificate providers website for certificate importing, refer to a keystore file with the extension .jks. However, the keytool instructions from Sun do not mention anything about mykeystore.jks but rather mykeystore.keystore.

What is the difference? Versions?

Also, in the domain.xml file for the appserver, there is reference to a couple of .jks files. I assume this is where it looks for the certificates. Am i correct in changing these to point to mykeystore.keystore?

thanks
