Using a custom keystore in prelude, how to?

Hi All
I am trying to follow the same procedure I used with other glassfish versions.
Create a custom keystore and point to it in domain.xml, import the root ca into container jdk and point to this as the truststore
This used to work seamlessly with other glassfish version.
However with prelude, I am not able to use it
Fails with message "[#|2009-07-29T12:53:09.578-0700|WARNING|glassfish|com.sun.grizzly.config.GrizzlyServiceListener|_ThreadID=11;_ThreadName=Thread-1;|SSL support could not be configured!
java.io.IOException: Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect "

I am more than 100% sure that I am using the right passwords.
This works if I import my cert into the default glassfish/domains/domain/config/keystore.jks

However now when I access the application, I am getting random
"java.net.SocketException: Connection reset "
We use a client program to test out application.
Even that fails with the same error message.

Will appreciate any thoughts/workarounds
