I will review the problem this weekend.. meanwhile, if someone from
Glassfish wants to check:

svn checkout https://footprint.dev.java.net/svn/footprint/trunk
footprint --username guest
cd footprint
mvn clean install
* start the server and the database
asadmin deploy --force
footprint/footprint-service-ear/target/footprint-service-ear-1.0-SNAPSHOT.ear

then check the logs :)
