I see that you are using this with V3.
For users who wish to use the In Memory Provider with V2, they can easily port the provider to V2 and configure it as an alternate/default provider in V2.
We had done the initial testing on V2 when the provider was developed.
So IMHO, the JACC spec is powerful enough to let you do things differently. Since it is a standard you have the ability to move your provider to some other container that supports JACC (this is in contrast to other non-standard mechanisms supported by other vendors).
