if your requirement states MVC implementation might I suggest Struts2?
Spring has its own MVC Framework but from what I can see Struts has integration to Ajax Tag libraries along with comprehensive integration to xwork interceptor stack

Hopefully Raibles whitepaper will give you ideas on which framework to use
