it worked, what I did was unistall Glasshfish V3 from Contol Panel- Programs unistall and reinstall it choosing C:\glassfish-v3-prelude folder location for the server.


the weird thing is that I've appache too and using this location
C:\Program Files (x86)\Apache Software Foundation\Apache Tomcat 6.0.18

and I could started without issues-
