one question though...
are you sayinf that I should use database table to get the user type...my original question was how should I use usertype that is stored in a database table and restrict the resources based on the user...
you asked to just use
<role-name>admin</role-name>
but my question is usertype in my application is stored in a session variable...
can I say...
<role-name>mysessionvariable_usertype</role-name>
