Hi Sekhar,

thanks for your help and sorry for my late reply (I'm on sick leave at the moment...). If I understand you correctly, in order to bind a simple String to a JNDI name, I need to create a factory class for Strings? If this is true, I'd like to propose that glassfish should be enhanced to come with a set of default factories for common types like primitives, strings, dates, etc.
