So the expectation is that customers and users of glassfish would be expected to write and implement their own monitoring plugins in java utilizing jmx / amx?
I wonder if it's understood that in most organizations operations and development are totally separate and getting something like this done is a lot of coordination and effort in a matrixed reporting structures?
And thats even assuming your development teams have 1.) The expertise and understanding of jmx / amx development. 2.) the alloted time to help an operations team with this as it falls bizarrely outside the scope of most tasks.
Just wanted to share this insight.
