Glassfish Installer does not provide upgrade mechanism.
AFAIK, your choices are
1). Install V2.1 on a directory different than V2UR2(This is not
in-place), then use
binaries from V2.1 to refer to V2UR2 domain. For ex. you can specify
--domaindir
option along with asadmin start-domain command to point to any valid
domain directory.
2). I beleive the domains are backward compatible, means you can backup
the domain, uninstall/remove V2UR2 directory, reinstall V2.1 in the same
place, restore domain(s) directory from backup and start using it.
