The final release of GlassFish v3 Prelude is planned for the end of this
month. Highlights of this release include:
* A lightweight Web 2.0 development and deployment platform built on a
modular OSGi-based architecture. This enables a dynamically extensible
and embeddable platform.
* Web and scripting containers with support for Servlet 2.5, JSP 2.1,
JSF 1.2, JRuby and Groovy.
* An Admin Console for configuration and management.
* Business tier support for JPA 1.0, Java DB, and JDBC Connection Pooling.
* Add-ons from the Update Center including jMaki Ajax Framework, Metro
Web Services Stack, JRuby, Grails, Jersey, OMG Corba, XA Transaction,
Image Packaging System(IPS) Tools.
