The installation directory of your existing installation and
corresponding components are independently registered via Solaris
productregistry mechanism. So, even if you rename your directory,
installer has acces to registration info and as far as it is concerned
your installation still exists.

You should either install into a different directory or uninstall your
existing installation and then reinstall if you want to install into
the same location.
