RMI compiler generated stubs implement the interfaces com.ibm.websphere.csi.CSIServant , and ibm.websphere.csi.TransactionalObject . Are you including RMI generated stubs in the ear file ? If so, start with an ear file on websphere without RMI generated stubs (which are specific to websphere) , migrate the application to GlassFish and deploy on glassfish. The stubs can be generated glassfish.
