As requested by quite a few users, the admin console is now included in the distribution. Please take the latest promoted build under
http://download.java.net/glassfish/v3/promoted/ and try it out.
As of today, the latest promoted build is 23.
The console bits is part of the distribution, but not installed yet. Upon the first access to the console using
http://<hostname>:4848/ after intallation , the war file will be expanded, deployed and loaded.
Note that the console is loaded when it is accessed, not during server startup, which means it may take a little longer to bring up the console. This is true upon every server restart, although the explode and deployment is a one time job after installation.
