You have apache2 set up to display static content from within the
domain1/docroot folder? Well, why not... even though I haven't seen it like
this before. :)

Seriously: For what you want to do (running apache2 and glassfish on the
same host) you will need to do some sort of proxy setup in order to
"redirect" / rewrite / translate / ... calls to certain resources (i.e.
application contexts like /myapp/) through apache2 to the local glassfish
(and, more accurately, to its http connector listening on port 8080). Have a
look at [1] for straightforward and working way how to do so...
