I've opened an an enhancement issue

and I will submit a patch for this. One thing I am having trouble is getting the "asadmin help start-database" to be updated. I modified the "start-database.1" in "appserv-docs/sman/cat1" and "appserv-docs/sman/man1" but these obviously are not used for this. I did see "glassfish_dependencies/glassfish-help/jars/glassfish-help-20080318.jar" and that is probably what is being used but I have no idea how that is changed.
Any help here will be appreciated.
