I have a similar configuration and am experiencing the same issue.
The only difference is the version of java - JDK 1.6u6.
Did you ever resolve this problem and if so would you mind sharing the solution?
I have invested a significant amount of time trying to resolve this problem and feel that I have exhausted every avenue. I am near the point of abandoning Glassfish all together as this is a show stopper.
