With the other two binding components

    sun-file-binding
    sun-jms-binding

the problem does not occur and the log shows correct values for specification-version and build-number. e.g.:

specification-version: 1.0
build-number: 080408_1

The sun-http-binding component does pick-up other configuration parameters, e.g. default ports, correctly.
