pl help! glassfish clustering issue - xp & linux

Hello,

I am attempting a cluster between an XP and fedora core6 linux box.
GFv2 on both machines

XP is the DAS, and also has 2 instances (or1 and or2). These 2 instances on this XP box startup just fine.
Linux box has 1 instance, called dc1.

I have been able to get as far as recognizing the both the XP and Linux node agent on the cluster, but every time I attempt the start the instance on the linux box - both directly from the linux box, as well as via the DAS, I am getting a "Protocol family unavailable" error.

I looked at the dc1 instance log on linux box and noticed this.

[#|2008-06-23T17:37:23.213-0700|WARNING|sun-appserver9.1|com.sun.jbi.framework.sun|_ThreadID=19;_ThreadName=JBI-Ready-Sync;_RequestID=c98859e3-60ac-450e-9df6-0f3f927c4d3b;|JBIFW5192: Failed to write httpsoap configuration file /opt/java/SUNWappserver/nodeagents/datacore/dc1\jbi\components\sun-http-binding\install_root\workspace/config.properties : /opt/java/SUNWappserver/nodeagents/datacore/dc1\jbi\components\sun-http-binding\install_root\workspace/config.properties (No such file or directory)|#]

Looks like somehow the pathing forward slash vs. backward slash is getting mixedup! Any ideas on where to turn?

Thanks
