We would like to use log4j (for legacy reporting requirements) with EJBs deployed in Glassfish, but I can't seem to get it to work. I've tried putting the log4j.jar in /../glassfish/lib along with the config file and adding the path to the JVM path of the server, but no luck. The log files are not being created.
Web applications that have the jar file in their WEB-INF/lib and the config file in WEB-INF/classes work fine.
Any help would be appreciated
