You can try EJB 3.1 Lite with V3 TP2 following Mahesh's blog: http://blogs.sun.com/EJB/entry/ejb_3_1_in_glassfish.

Note, that it is very limited, with only non-XA datasource support, and no Timer support out-of-the-box. But we are interested in feedback ;).
I'll write up how and what you can enable for the timer service in TP2, and add a note to Mahesh's blog.
