That didnt fix it.
I created a new workspace without spaces.
"C:\Documents and Settings\Will\EuropaGlassfishWorkspace" and imported the code into that and tried to deploy with the same error.
if i dont use an ear file and just build an ejb-jar it does however deploy from eclipse.
Just the Ear build is failing.
One last fling - i'm going to create a workspace not in the default windows area as that has spaces in it.
