I was able to get my SAM to lookup the DataSource via JNDI. I did check the "Allowing Non-Component Callers" check box and I am getting DB connections. I pass the JNDI name to lookup as a property via the GF GUI. This will allow me to eliminate a redundant JDBC pool inside my provider. I can just reuse the same pool as my app (if I want to)
