Well, I neglected to put in the post that in my pg_hba.conf, I have the entire subnet allowed for hostssl. But what I did posted in my first post there was that other SSL based clients can and do connect to this server via SSL. The fact that the error message sates "SSL off" is an issue as it should say "SSL on". How do I get Glassfish to honor my ssl attributes?
