Thanks, I've already added that to the web.xml file, but it didn't work.
I don't think it fixes the shtml issue, plus, I think I'm missing the class or servlet it's referring to. Is there some sort of ssi servlet or class I need to active/point to/install?
Sorry about being so niave. I'm new to both server configuration and the netbeans ide.
