Hi, Cheng; that doesn't work either.
Basically, it appears that as soon as the @PersistenceContext annotation is present--maybe just on abstract superclasses; haven't tried it on a concrete bean--then you can't override it in XML.
I believe this is a specification violation, yes? If you agree, I'll file a bug.
