But, obviously even though there are no subtype tables associated with those particular "z" values, they ARE still subtypes of a sort.
So the point is you should still make subclasses within the domain model, even though they don't have extra table associated with them.
You may have to play with it (for example, use a common superclass and 5 subclasses), but the JPA should be able to do this for you I think.
