I am trying to integrate Toplink with Compass. Though there already exists an integration between the two, I would love to have a more tight integration. One way to go about it is to have a Compass SessionCustomizer, which seems like the right place. The problem with this is the fact that session.getProeprties() basically returns me no properties since it does not hold the properties defined within the persistence unit xml. In this properties I was hoping to add specific Compass properties. Does someone has an idea of a workaround? Is there another (better) entry point into the lifecycle of Toplink that I am missing besides the session customizer?
