I have discovered the cause of the problem. The AS is running on Windows Server 2003 and when I log off the administrator account, Windows is forcibly ending the process. So, apparently I need to start the server in another way that doesn't cause the process to end when I log off. To be precise about how I'm starting the AS, I'm using the installed Start menu command to "Start Default Server" when I kick off my AS. Either there are some settings I need to update or I should start the server as a system process. Any ideas on what is the correct way to start the AS on Windows Server 2003, so it doesn't quit when the administrator (or user) logs off?
