Hello,

I´ve got a problem with installing the Sun Application Server
(Netbean-bundle) and creating the domain.

First some information what I have done in the last two days...

First I tried this netbeans version: jdk-6u3-nb-5_5_1-win-ml.exe
In addition, I downloaded the visual web pack
(netbeans-ent_pack-5_5-windows.exe) and the enterprise pack
(netbeans-visualweb-5_5_1-windows.exe) and after installing both I updated
netbeans via the update center.

But then I realized, that the ApplicationServer was not installed, the
folder C:\Sun\App (default folder) was created but empty.

After trying some things, I uninstalled Netbeans and tried to install the
netbeans tools bundle: java-tools-bundle-windows-ml.exe with same effect.

Then I deleted all files I could find that now avoid installing the third
netbeans-version with Appl.Server:
sjsas_pe-9_0_01-nb-5_5_1-ml-fcs-bin-win.exe

Then the install works (in another folder
C:\Programme\Java\ApplicationServer)
But an error occured with creating the domain. Here is the content of
"Install_Application_Server_9PE_200711141012.log":

Then I tried some things I could find in several forums:
For example:

- cd install-dor/config
- edit asenv.conf
- see what AS_JAVA points to. Make sure that this value is double quoted.
- cd install-dir/bin
- asadmin create-domain --adminuser admin --adminport 4848 newdomain

or:

C:\Programme\Java\ApplicationServer\bin>asadmin create-domain --adminport
4848
-adminuser admin --adminpassword adminadmin --instanceport 8080 domain1

Syntaxfehler.

But you see then appears: "Syntax error!" again.

I don´t know how to solve the problem and would be very happy for some help!

Thanks a lot,
Nicki
