Hi. It's good to see another person starting to use GlassFish.
The first step will be to look in the server's log file to see if any problems are reported there. The path for that file is noted in the start-up message...in your case
Log redirected to C:\Program Files\glassfish\domains\domain1\logs\server.log
Normally, there will be quite a bit of information things reported there. Look for exceptions or other warnings and post them here and we'll see if we can help.
It's also helpful to note the exact OS you are using (obviously it's Windows in your case, but which Windows: XP, XP Pro, Vista, etc.) and the release of your Java SE installation. (This will be reported in server.log.)
