Thank you very much for the reference. I looked at the thread, downloaded the jar file with the patched file. I then created a new toplink-essentials.jar file and restarted the app server. Unfortunately, I did not see any different behavior. One thing that I am not sure about, is whether I have to do something special, to make sure that the client uses the patch file (I have seen a post in a different thread talk about an ACC_HOME variable, but I can't find any other locatin with a toplink-essentials.jar file...).
How can I make sure that the patch is really active?
