SSL certs seem very complicated to get working correctly in Glassfish. In a perfect world, where a perfect Glassfish exists, there would be some sort of built-in utility that greatly simplifies this process. Think of how simple it is to get SSL working in IIS. Heck, it was even easy with JBoss, it took me a few minutes and I had no trouble at all.

Someone posted instructions on the Glassfish wiki but I found them equally as useless as the previously existing documentation. It just does...not...work (for me).
