I'm not sure that we are talking about the same things.
My experience is that it's possible to create tables in the database with toplink, but not access the application at the runtime (i.e. insert or fetch any data) because the application isn't [b]loaded[/b] into the instance. See the exceptions above.
You were saying in your first posting that "With TopLink the application deploys fine."
It doesn't deploy fine for me.
