The exceptions occur when I attempt to deploy the RAR file. Oddly enough, I get the exception, but the Admin console displays the connector module. If I attempt to create a connection pool using the JCA adapter, though, I get exceptions. But, given that it had severe errors during the rar deployment, I expected that to happen.
