I assume you are talking about the JVM classpath settings.
Which build are you using ?
There was some problem in saving the classpath which is fixed in promoted build 53 onward. That was issue 3187.
If you upgrade to a later build, you will see that the console no longer does any newline conversion, but if you specify the path in seperate lines, it will concatenate the lines with ${path.separator}
Please try this in a later build.
