My project is a smooth migration of a old application system to Java EE 5 using EJB 3.0 entities and CMP with glassfish / toplink.
Inserting a @Version column into the existing database tables is no option because some hundred of existing old programs cannot / may not run well with such modification.
I wonder if and how glassfish / toplink could be configured to use what Oracle named "AllfieldLockingPolicy" in some documents to the Toplink product.
Any idea? Thanks for your responses!
