At Glassfish community docs [1], at the topic "Learn and Write Applications with the Latest Java EE 5 Technologies" at the first item it says "... This includes instructions for installing and running ...", it links to the "Quick Start Guide" [2], there it says "You must have already installed the product". The Get Started page [3] suffers the same problem "...The guide includes instructions for installing and running the...", there is no install instructions at all.
I saw there is no search box anywhere at glassfish home page [4], but there is one at the wiki [5], which site is to be used [4] or [5] ?
I am using glassfish v1 and wanted to use GF v2, so I downloaded v2 RC4, and want to see if the install instruction "ant -f setup.xml" didn't change between GF v1 and RC4
I did the following search at google: "ant -f setup.xml" site:wiki.glassfish.java.net and "ant -f setup.xml" site:glassfish.dev.java.net which lead me to the download page [6].
My fault I failed to read the download page, but the docs need to be updated to reflect how to install GF (as stated at first paragraph)
