Could you explain what error messages you notice in the standalone
client and also a thread dump while it hangs? This could help us debug
this further. Does also the response at
https://glassfish.dev.java.net/servlets/ReadMsg?list=users&msgNo=6943 help?
I think the response takes a while to be "sync'ed" to the forum.
