Integrating Glassfish with Netbeans on Linux

Not a huge problem and certainly not something I can't work around but I'm curious if there is some reason why Netbeans 5.5 doesn't want to admit that Glassfish is present on my Linux development box? I have both Sun One App Server 9.x and Glassfish installed in different locations (both were installed with the Synaptec Package Manager) Netbeans cheerfully admits the presence of SunOne, but not Glassfish even when I try to add it as a server it swears it's not a recognized app server. One thing I did notice was that Synaptec put the domain folder in my user path rather than in the shared path. Not sure if that would make a difference but it stuck out in my head as the complaint from Netbeans claims that it can't find a legitimate domain to launch.

Thoughts comments or suggestions would be most welcome.
