Does this happen with build 50 also?
Does this happen on build 48 with other app clients? (or maybe you don't have others to try it with)
Can you please post the section of the server.log that describes the deployment of your app client and the subsequent loading of it where the Java Web Start services are started?
Is the app client JAR you deploy small enough to e-mail to me? I would like to see if I can recreate the problem in my environment.
