Re: Application Server 9.1 Admin console extremely slow

Firefox. I installed glassfish on an Ubuntu box, and accessing the admin console from my MacBook Pro worked great, it was nice and fast. Is there some sort of JVM argument that could speed it up? I noticed I had a bit of a delay the first time I accessed the admin console when it was running on ubuntu, but subsequent requests were quick. All requests to the admin console while running on OS X had this significant delay. It should be noted that the specs for my OS X box are far better than the linux box, we're talking 2.16 dual core w/ 2gb ram VS 2.3 single core amd64 w/ 1.5gb ram.

I would love to keep glassfish running on my ubuntu box but for development reasons it doesn't seem feasible. I'm unable to deploy applications remotely, a limitation of the eclipse glassfish plugin, and while I could do it manually that seems like it would be more work than its worth.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
